Icc World cup 2011 Opening ceremony was held at Bangabandhu Stadium in Bangladesh on 17th Feb 2011.The ICC President Sharad Pawar Started the Proceeding of the event with the welcome speech and the Prime Minister of the Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina announced the Opening of the event.The evening was lit-up with the spectacular musical performances by Bryan Adams ,Shankar Eshan-Roy, Sonu Nigam and Bengali musicians.The worldup welcome song "O Prathibi, Ebar Eshey Banglake Nao Chiney" was sung by the Bangladeshi Singer Ebrar Tipu.
