ICC World Cup Trophy is presented to the winners of the World Cup finals. It was created in 1999, being the first permanent prize in the tournament's history. Earlier individual trophies were made for each World Cup.
Current trophy is made from silver and gild featuring a golden globe held up by 3 silver columns. The columns shaped as stumps and bails representing 3 fundamental aspects of cricket: batting, bowling and fielding while the globe represents a cricket ball. It stands 60cm high and weighs approx. 11kilograms.
The names of previous winners are engraved on the base of the trophy, with space for a total of 20 inscriptions.
